CalACT 2010 San Francisco

Cindy, Cliff and our newest employee, Brian Frank, recently returned from a great trip to San Francisco for the CalAct conference. It’s wonderful to associate with some many people who are doing great work to provide more rides to more people every day. We had a great time meeting new people and seeing old friends! Not to mention the great food of Fisherman’s Wharf and a quick walk (felt like a hike with those hills) to China Town.

Congratulations to our drawing winner, Mindy Jackson, of El Dorado County Transit Authority. We look forward to seeing many more of you next month at CTAA in Long Beach!

Welcome Michiana Area Council Of Government

The Michiana Area Council Of Government (MACOG) in South Bend Indiana, provides subsidized fares to taxi riders in Elkhart and Goshen Indiana. They recently implemented an install of Easy Rides Plus with Mentor Ranger Mobile Data Computers. The Ranger units are installed in the vehicles of ACE Cab, which provides the rides and dispatching. MACOG is currently verifying the data produced by the MDTs. Once verification is complete they will be able to go paperless! It has been a lot of work, but the effort will soon pay off!
