CitiLink Goes Live

On July 1, 2010 one of Mobilitat’s newest customers CitiLink went “Live” with Easy Rides. Paul Gardner was on-site doing last minute training and adjustments. Here’s what he had to say,

“Fort Wayne is a clean and pretty city. When I arrived at CitiLink on Monday morning, I noticed right away that CitiLink’s facility and ALL of their buses were noticeably very clean and in excellent condition. The first person I saw when I came into the reception area was Pecola Trice in a bright yellow outfit – what a cheerful site she was – it was a good first impression!

During the entire training process, I worked primarily with Claudia Harris-Stevenson who is the Special Services Manager for CitiLink. I also worked frequently with Nancy Fisher, Pecola Trice, Patricia Jackson, Dawn Hogle and Lateachca Carswell. They were fun to work with!

I have to hand it to all of the customer service and scheduling staff there at CitiLink – they were running their old software at the same time as trying to go “Live” with the new Easy Rides which is very demanding – and they approached it with positive attitudes and a willingness to learn.”

The next steps for CitiLink will be the rollout of the Mentor Rangers in the vehicles. The first units are installed now and are just about ready for testing. Mobilitat would like to thank all involved with CitiLink for their hard work and dedication to this project. Welcome to the Mobilitat community!

Archiving Trips Video Tutorial Available

Mobilitat proudly presents our latest video, Archiving Trips!

This new video is available along with our other videos, here. The Archiving Trips tutorial is an easy to follow walk-through of the steps to archive and the available options related to archiving trips in Easy Rides! You can view it as many times as you want with the ability to pause, fast-forward, rewind or stop as needed.

We’ll be adding videos on more topics regularly and as Easy Rides changes and grows. If you have a great idea for an Easy Rides tutorial let us know so we can add it to our selection!

CTAA 2010 Long Beach, CA

Every year we travel to the CTAA expo and get to see and meet wonderful people! This year was no exception. We enjoyed a week of great weather in Long Beach and got to see and spend some time with many of our friends and meet several new ones all working to provide better transit services to as many people as possible!

This was CTAA’s first time in California and the Long Beach Convention Center along with its staff took great care of us! There were many awesome training sessions and speakers throughout the week! We especially enjoyed the Big Night Out on the Queen Marie. Our thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and visited and to all involved with the expo this year! We look forward to seeing even more people at CTAA 2011 in Indianapolis, IN!
